Terms of Service
Last updated: August 21, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Canvyr (the "Service"), operated by Canvyr ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Canvyr is a public-record diligence service that compiles information about licensed businesses in New Jersey's regulated cannabis industry, including state license and permit status, regulatory enforcement actions, UCC secured-debt lien filings, and corporate status. The Service is an informational and analytics tool only. Canvyr does not sell, handle, distribute, or facilitate the sale of cannabis, CBD, or any physical products.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Pilot, monitoring, and billing
The Diligence Pilot is a one-time $250 purchase covering 1 to 25 selected New Jersey companies. It includes a verified baseline and 30 days of weekly changes beginning when the baseline is delivered. It does not renew automatically. You may separately opt in to continued monitoring for $120 per month, with payments processed by Square. To cancel monitoring or request a refund, email support@canvyr.com; cancellation stops the next monitoring renewal and keeps access through the paid monitoring period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to resell, scrape, or redistribute the data in bulk, misrepresent the Service, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harass any business or individual referenced in the data.
6. Data accuracy and no professional advice
Canvyr compiles information from public government and third-party sources and presents it on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the data is complete, current, or error-free. Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, financial, investment, or compliance advice, and you should independently verify any information before relying on it.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its compilation, analysis, and presentation of data, is owned by Canvyr and protected by applicable law. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Service for your internal business purposes.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canvyr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. If you explicitly continued monthly monitoring, you may cancel that monitoring.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice to your account.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@canvyr.com.
